BlinkTrap Privacy Policy
Think fast. Tap smart. Keep control of your information.
The short version
BlinkTrap is an offline reflex game for players of all ages. Gameplay records and preferences are stored on your device, not sent to us. There are no accounts, ads, or analytics. Sharing a score is always your choice.
This policy explains the BlinkTrap Android app, as well as what happens if you email privacy support or visit this policy website.
- No sign-up
- No advertising
- No analytics
- Local game records
1. Data on your device
BlinkTrap processes your taps and game state on your device to run challenges and calculate scores. It saves the following local records so they are available the next time you play:
- Your personal best score.
- The number of games you have completed.
- Your longest streak.
- Your settings, such as sound and haptics preferences where those features are available.
These records support gameplay and remember your choices. BlinkTrap does not upload them to us, create an online profile, or maintain a cloud leaderboard.
2. Collection and permissions
BlinkTrap does not collect or transmit personal information to us through gameplay. The app has no account system, backend service, advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting service, and does not include data-collecting SDKs.
The game does not access your contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or messages, or use advertising identifiers to track you. Its gameplay does not require access to that information or an internet connection.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, or use gameplay data for profiling or targeted advertising. Information you voluntarily share with another app or send by email is explained separately below.
3. Optional score sharing
If you choose to share a result, BlinkTrap passes your score and challenge text to the Android system share sheet. You choose the receiving app and recipient and whether to complete the share. BlinkTrap does not automatically publish results or access your contacts.
The app you select processes the shared information under its own privacy policy. Once you share a message, its recipients or the receiving service may keep a copy. To remove those copies, use that service's controls or contact the recipient; clearing BlinkTrap's storage will not remove them.
4. Children's privacy
BlinkTrap is intended for players of all ages, including children. The same offline, local-data approach applies to every player: the app does not ask for a name, email address, age, or account, and does not collect personal information from children through gameplay.
There are no ads, behavioral tracking, or in-app purchases. Score sharing is optional and opens another app; parents and guardians should help children decide what to share and which services to use.
Children should ask a parent or guardian to contact privacy support rather than send personal information themselves. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact thewolfdevs@gmail.com so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
5. Retention and deletion
Local scores and settings remain in BlinkTrap's app storage until that storage is cleared or removed. We do not hold a server copy of your game records and cannot read, retrieve, or remotely delete them.
Delete records on your Android device
- Open your device's Settings and select Apps.
- Select BlinkTrap, then Storage or Storage & cache.
- Choose Clear storage or Clear data and confirm.
Menu names vary by device. This resets saved scores and preferences; clearing only the cache may not remove them. Uninstalling normally removes the app's local storage too.
Android or your device provider may back up or restore app data, depending on your device settings and backup configuration. Those copies are not a BlinkTrap-operated cloud service. Use your device or backup provider's controls to manage them; clearing local storage or uninstalling may not remove existing backups.
There is no BlinkTrap account to close. For information you have emailed to privacy support, see the next sections. Messages shared to other apps must be managed with those services.
6. Data security
BlinkTrap uses Android's app storage protections for local records. Keeping your device updated and secured helps protect that information. We do not operate a server that receives gameplay records.
Access to privacy-support correspondence is limited to handling the enquiry and associated obligations. No device, storage system, or email service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in a privacy enquiry.
7. Support and your choices
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your question, handle privacy requests, and meet applicable legal obligations, not for advertising.
Support email is processed through Gmail under Google's Privacy Policy. Correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet applicable legal obligations, then deleted. Where disclosure is legally required, relevant correspondence may be provided to the appropriate authorities.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent us, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing the contact below. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your own correspondence.
You do not need to contact us to clear game records on your device. You can also choose not to share scores or send support email and still play BlinkTrap.

When you visit, GitHub may process technical request information, including your IP address, to serve and secure the website. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement for its practices. This website hosting is separate from BlinkTrap's offline gameplay.

9. Changes to this policy
If BlinkTrap's features or data practices change, this policy will be updated and the last-updated date revised. Any required notices or consent will be provided before new data handling begins. You can return to this URL to read the current policy.
